Coroner's appeal to find family of 78-year-old Sunderland man who died alone at home

An appeal has been launched to find the children of a Sunderland pensioner who died at his him address last month.

Henry Summerscales, 78, died at his home at 190 Palmerston Road, Sunderland, on June 28, 2020.

Sunderland’s coroner’s office believe Mr Summerscales, who’s date of birth was July 27, 1941, has two daughters and a son.

Anyone with information which can help find members of her family are asked to contact coroner’s officer Reginald Hooper on 0191 561 7840.
