Clap for Carers: North East supports the NHS, carers and key workers for fourth week running with another huge round of applause

The North East once again came together to honour our NHS, key workers and carers who are helping to keep us safe during the coronavirus pandemic.

For the fourth week running at 8pm on Thursday evening, people across the UK took to their doorsteps, back gardens and windows to applaud those on the frontline.

As you put your hands together, many of you got in touch by commenting our North East titles on Facebook and Twitter to share your own touching messages.
