Burglar breaks into property, steals car keys and drive off in victim's BMW

Police are appealing for information after a burglary stole car keys before driving off in the victim’s BMW.

Seaham and Easington Police said in a statement about the Seaham raid: “The incident occurred on The Avenue sometime overnight between December 21 and December 22.

“It is believed the suspect broke in through the back door and took two coats containing house keys, car keys and a mobile phone.

“The suspect then made off in the victim’s blue BMW.”

Durham Police have appealed for information following a burglary in Seaham.
