Back for good: Take That’s Sunderland comeback in pictures

Take That brought the house down at Sunderland's Stadium of Light tonight, as the pop superstars returned to Wearside for the first time in 15 years.

Around 49,000 music lovers packed into the football ground to watch Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald deliver a hit-filled set packed with some of their biggest songs of the past three decades.

The trio, who last performed at the venue during their Progress Live tour in 2011, were welcomed back by a sea of fans who sang every word as the band rolled out classic after classic.

From Pray and A Million Love Songs to Patience, Shine, Greatest Day, Rule the World and the iconic Back for Good, the crowd was treated to a setlist stacked with chart-toppers.

The concert formed part of the band's The Circus Live tour and followed support performances from The Script and 1980s pop star Belinda Carlisle.
