Crowds gathered to cheer on the Radio 1 DJ who is in the saddle for a mammoth 1000km cycle challenge, covering the length of the country, from Weymouth to Edinburgh in aid of Comic Relief.
He capped off day six in Sunderland last night, March 18, where he was welcomed with pink slices, Greggs sausage rolls and a wave of support.
The Radio 1 mobile broadcast unit is in Keel Square, with the Breakfast Show broadcasting live from the city with Jamie Laing this morning, before Greg sets off on day seven.
