Staff at St Martin’s Washington Manor Care Home are hoping to raise £1000 which will go towards outdoor furniture for residents, helping them spend more time outside in the coming summer months.

The challenge will see 10 members of staff take part in a virtual climb of the highest mountain in Wales, Mount Snowdon, by climbing a total of 4610 stairs.

Not only will it help improve the lives of residents, but it is also being used to promote wellbeing amongst the staff, who have faced a difficult year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
