The people have spoken

The Referendum result has shown that the people of this country, who have been ignored by the political class and their friends in the big business and the bank, have at last spoken and are now to be heard.

It is vindication of the power of the people and a return to a truer democracy as we have turned out and shown at last what we want to happen.

I hope it also makes those that have lost faith in the political process will regain some interest in further participation, which will be better for our country.

Many of the arguments placed before us have been false and full of deceit and attempted to dislocate positive thinking. Well we saw through it and made our minds up ourselves and have won the day.

The Referendum has also indicated how out of touch our political parties are and how distant they have become from the electorate.

There will be massive fallout following this result and a new dawn will bring fresh thinking by the electorate in how they will vote in the future.

The biggest loss I feel will be felt by the Labour Party elite, who were totally at odds to their core support and will pay a large price for this neglect.
