Park Lane Market should go

Why doesn't the council do the right thing and get rid of Park Lane Market?

It is a joke and an embarrassment. With less than 50% occupancy, it is mainly used as a short cut.

The old permanently locked toilets could go too.

The market is unattractive and one end is cluttered with crisps and biscuits all over the floor.

Is this really an image we want in Sunderland?

We could have a nice little supermarket there.

Newcastle and Gateshead got rid of much better markets than this. It is called regeneration.
