Over 20 firefighters tackle factory blaze
More than 20 firefighters attended a large rubbish fire inside a derelict factory in Houghton-le-Spring.
Five crews attended the blaze at TKT Cosyfoam in Lambton Lane at 5.10pm on Sunday.
Tyne and Wear Fire Service said the fire, which has now been extinguished, involved a large pile of rubbish inside the derelict building.
