Why move the Festival of Lights to Mowbray Park?

I, for one, will never visit the town just to see the lights. A lot of people, specially the elderly, enjoy them every year. I bet if they could the council would move the airshow somewhere else just to upset people. They have not thought about the backlash it will cause.
