We asked our readers whether they planned to travel abroad this summer.

This is what you said on our social media pages:

Bill Middlemass: “Until the world lines up its rules, I'm staying clear of it. Plenty to see in the UK.”

Dorothy Cooper: “The rules could change in a heartbeat mid-holiday and you could end up with a huge bill for extra costs.”

Marilyn Briggs: “In a heartbeat.”

Jenna Rutherford: “Yes but not if [you] have to wear masks.”

Lozzy Lozbuds: “Not while there's a traffic light system in place and you have to be tested. I want to be more certain that nothing will change when I book things.”

James Clare: “No, and I know loads of people who would normally travel quite a lot who aren't going to this year either.
