'˜One of a kind' nurse nominated for prestigious national award

Julie Noble, a nurse at HC-One’s Jack Dormand Care Home in Horden, has been selected as a finalist for Care Registered Nurse of the Year at the National Care Awards.

The National Care Awards is the longest established annual awards for the health and social care sector, and is organised by leading publication, Caring Times.

The awards were devised to celebrate the very best people in the long-term care sector, highlighting excellence and rewarding those who work tirelessly to provide consistently outstanding care.

Julie was recommended for the award by a very grateful family who described in detail the moving impact and great relationship she had with their father and the family as a whole.

She has been described as “one of a kind and a pillar of strength to the family”.

This nomination comes after Julie last year won the Nurse of the Year Award at the HC-One of a Kind Awards, for being a consistent inspiration to her fellow colleagues.

Following her selection, Julie will be interviewed by a panel of judges, ready to find out the results at a black-tie presentation dinner on November 24.

The awards ceremony will take place at the Hilton London Metropole and hosted by comedian David Baddiel.
