On behalf of everyone, I would like to say a massive thank you to Mrs Ann Shields and to the committee of Moorsley Care of the Aged for all their hard work over the year.

Thanks too to Alan and Bobby, from the Big Club, for their support and to Ron and Scott, of Roxby Coaches, for getting everyone to and from the venue.

I would also like to sincerely thank on behalf of myself and everyone, Terry and Jacky and the committee of Moorsley Residents’ Association for their hard work over the year.

The coffee mornings, Easter fair, summer fair and the wonderful Christmas festivities for the children and community were wonderful.

Not forgetting the memorabilia displayed on the miners who were injured and lost their lives in the mines from Moorsley and surrounding areas, and for our brave soldiers who lost their lives in the war.

It must have taken Jacky hours of research and patience to create such a touching display of remembrance.
