TRAFFIC - 8.20am

Drivers are being advised that over running roadworks have caused one lane of the A19 northbound to be closed between the A1290 and the A184 junctions.

Delays have been caused due to the lane closure.

TYNE AND WEAR METRO - 8.20am

No reports of any delays at present.

SHIELDS FERRY - 8.20am

No reported delays.

BUSES - 8.20am

Due to the lane closure on the A19, bus provider Go North East says it has diverted Northbound services X9 & X10 between Dalton Park at Murton and Heworth to avoid the traffic.

Buses are operating non stop via Washington, but buses will not be serving the stop at Testos Rounadabout.
