Newcastle look set to land Tottenham winger Andros Townsend

The Spurs winger looked set to be priced out of a move during this transfer window with the North London club holding out for a £14m fee.

The Magpies are believed to have offered £10m.

But tonight, the Guardian reports that an agreement has been made on a fee with Spurs lowering their sights to make the move happen.

Newcastle have already brought in Jonjo Shelvey and Henri Saivet and now look to have landed Townsend, who had been linked to Sunderland earlier in the window.
