New SAFC kit: Cheshire cats, NUFC throwbacks and what else you've said
Next week, Sunderland AFC's new third kit will be available to purchase across the club's three stores.
And its launch by the club last night has certainly sparked a reaction from Black Cats across the region.
The pink and purple strip, with purple socks and shorts, prompted both negative and positive comments - with many drawing comparison between the kit's colour scheme and the Alice in Wonderland Cheshire cat.
Some have also noted the similarities between the new third kit and a previous Newcastle United away kit.
Others, faithful to the last, have commended the kit for its different direction with some just giving it a big thumbs up. But what else have you been saying?
Here are some of your comments from Facebook and Twitter.
Janet Poole: "Awful, maybe for the ladies team."
David Green: "Third kit is horrible, I thought the green one was bad."
Carol Graham Cole: "First impression, no just no."
Peter Woodhill: "Thumbs down."
Billy Bone: "I do actually [like it]! Still won't be buying it at £50, if not more!"
David Wardle: "I like it."
John Cairns: "Love it. Haters gonna hate."
Gill Burn: "It's fine as a third kit as long as we get a better away strip. The blue and white one from the Crystal Palace game was perfect."
Liam Angus: "I've been smiling like a Cheshire Cat since we sent the mags down, so I LOVE IT!"
Ray Dougan: "It's all about the badge."
Nicola Kate: "Don't like it, good job it's the third kit."
Paul Scott: "I like it, nice to see something a bit different from the usual kits we have had."
Dave Pritchard: "For me it should have had our original home vertical stripes or bring back a blast from the past."
David Henry: "I strangely like it, It's like the Black Cats have the Cheshire cat as their alter ego."
Paul Williams: "It's different but quite nice, definitely going to get get my young daughter one, class for little kids."
David Ritchie: "Not for me."
