New £1.5million JD Gyms complex to create 15 jobs
JD Gyms, part of JD Sports Fashion Group, is transforming a 20,000sq ft space in the B&M building, off Spire Road at Washington’s Peel Retail Park.
Opening on Friday, March 4, the centre will feature more than 200 pieces of cardio, strength and functional fitness equipment and will also boast saunas, a sprint track, prowler track and free weights area.

Hide AdA large studio and spin studio will play host to over 60 classes a week, all of which are included in the membership.

Hide AdNext month’s opening marks the end of a lengthy saga – the building has been earmarked as a gym development for a number of years under the care of various gym chains, but work never started.
The new centre will be open between 6am and 10pm on weekdays and 8am and 8pm on Saturday and Sundays.
