Move out of civic centre

Sunderland Council announce more cuts, saying £110million needs to be saved by 2020.

I’ve a couple of ideas on how the council can achieve this.

How about the council move out of the civic centre, seeing as there are not enough staff to fill it now, and move round into Gillbridge, which it has purchased off Northumbria Police, thus making huge savings.

Then how about every councillor takes a £500 pay cut from their £1,000 a month allowance, as well as the leader and deputy leader taking cuts.

All that would make some savings, however, shame on the Tories for heaping more misery on the poor and vulnerable.
