Motorist escapes injury after car overturns in one-vehicle collision

Durham Constabulary attended Lady’s Piece Lane, Low Pittington, shortly at around midnight on Wednesday, July 29.

A spokeswoman said: “Police were called to reports of a one-vehicle collision on Lady’s Piece Lane in Low Pittington shortly after midnight.

“It is believed the Ford Mondeo was approaching a bend in the road when it clipped the curb and overturned into a nearby field. Thankfully, nobody was injured.”
