Money stolen during robbery at Sunderland Spar store
Northumbria Police are investigating a robbery which took place at the Spar in Ewesley Road, Sunderland.
Money was stolen during the robbery which occurred at 8.08pm on Monday, February 29. No-one was injured in the incident. Officers are in the area carrying out enquiries and offering reassurance to the local community. Neighbourhood Inspector for the area, Lisa Laverick, said: "We quickly deployed officers to the area last night to offer reassurance to the local community, and officers will continue to be in the area today."
