Aaliyah Alleyne struck twice to leave Gloucestershire 34-2, but unbeaten half-centuries from Abigail Evans and Bhavi Devchand steered the visitors home in comfort.

The next day, Durham squeezed home by one wicket against Scotland.

Sophie Jacobson plundered 4-12 in seven overs to help bowl out the Scots for 91 in 36.1 overs, backed by two wickets apiece from Helen Fenby and Amy Hearn.

Durham found it just as much a struggle batting as Scotland, but West Indian Alleyne’s outstanding, unbeaten 42, including a six, steered her team home with six balls to spare.
