Metros to Sunderland delayed after train fault
Metros to Sunderland are currently facing delays after a train developed a fault.

A train had to be withdrawn from service at East Boldon at around 2.04pm today, leading to gaps in the service between Pelaw and South Hylton.
A Metro spokesman said: “Metro services have been delayed between Pelaw and South Hylton after a train developed a fault and had to be withdrawn from service at East Boldon. This occurred at 2.04pm.

Hide Ad“It has meant gaps in service between Pelaw and South Hylton of about 20 minutes. Passengers will notice some gaps in service on the Sunderland line but the delays are minor.”
