Metro delays after vehicle hits bridge
Metro trains are running behind time after a vehicle hit a bridge on the line.
Trains were temporarily knocked out between North Shields and Wallsend after the incident in North Tyneside.
Metro said: "Trains are now running between St James and South Shields but with up to 15 mins delays due to a vehicle hitting a Metro bridge."
