McBain is closing in on the Golden Fleece Darts League top eight

Mike McBain maintained his push for a top eight finish in the Golden Fleece Darts League with two superb victories.

Firstly, McBain defeated Gary Bramley 5-0, with a best leg of 20 darts, then he beat Steve Carr 5-2 .

McBain enjoyed winning legs of 15, 18, 19 and 20 darts, plus two 180s.

Micky Seaman had a great 5-3 win over Gary Richardson, with winning legs of 18 (twice),20 and 21 darts, plus a great finish of 110 and two 180s.

Norman Place picked up a rare win when he beat Don Green 5-1. However, Place then lost 5-2 to Kev Long.

Micky Watson beat both Jaxon Douglass (5-0) and Andy Clark (5-1), with winning legs of 20 and 21 darts, plus a 180.

Jack Revely enjoyed a successful evening when he claimed two wins against Pete Wilson (5-2) and Colin Seaman (5-1).

Glen Woodbridge keeps up the pressure on the top two after a 5-0 win over Colin Seaman.

Jaxon Douglass defeated Gary Bramley 5-3 and Lee Rump beat Don Green 5-1.

Second placed Marco Laybourn beat John Doran 5-3 and Denny Cullen drew with Micky Long.

League leader Baz Walker beat Mark Forth 5-0, while Jaxon Douglass drew with Mark Forth.

Douglass’ best leg was an 18-darter, with 180.
