Man offers reward to find parrot which is missing from Washington
Andrew Hyden, 50, says he is “devastated” that his Congo African Grey parrot Grace flew away last weekend.
Mr Hyden, who works at the Asda warehouse in Washington, has had the bird for the last decade and is now desperately trying to track her down.

“She was on my arm and then just seemed to take the chance to fly away. I couldn’t believe it.
“I’ve been devastated by it and I really want to get her back.”
Mr Hyden added that he thinks 12-year-old Grace may have flown to the Chester-le-Street or Picktree areas.

“She’s got a ring on her leg and I’ve got all of her birth certificate documents.
“I’ll definitely give out a reward if anyone finds her.”
