Everyone loves a good drama, and here are some reminders of scenes from the stage in the Sunderland area.

We’ve dipped into the archives for some lovely shots of amateur dramatics down the years and now we are asking the question ‘who do you recognise?’

They were presenting it in the Church Hall, Seaburn Dene, in 1974, and perhaps you can tell us if it went down a storm. Who can you spot in the photos?

Were you a member of the society and what were the other productions that the drama group staged back in the 1970s?
