Love a drama? Here's a nostalgic look at Sunderland's bygone amateur dramatics scene

We’ve dipped into the archives for some lovely shots of amateur dramatics down the years and now we are asking the question ‘who do you recognise?’

Two of our nostalgic images show the members of the Fulwell Methodist Church Drama Society in their production of Mother Goose.

They were presenting it in the Church Hall, Seaburn Dene, in 1974, and perhaps you can tell us if it went down a storm. Who can you spot in the photos?

Were you a member of the society and what were the other productions that the drama group staged back in the 1970s?

Secondly, there is theshot of Sunderland Drama Club who were performing a show called Granite in February 1977.
