Long tailbacks on A1 due to broken down lorries
Motorists are being warned of huge tailbacks on the A1 following the breakdown of two vehicles.
One is lane is blocked on both the southbound and northbound carriageways between the J66 and J65 near Birtley.
The build up of traffic is due to two seperate broken down vehicles, both believed to be HGVs.
