David Gibson joins Bradley Hall chartered surveyors and estate agents following more than 40 years of experience in the sector.

He will work in close partnership with head of commercial agency, Tim Aisbitt, to further strengthen and grow the firm’s licence and leisure operations.

The expansion comes during a significant time of growth for Bradley Hall as it celebrates its 30th year.

Turnover has increased by 87% in the past three years under managing director Neil Hart alongside the opening of new offices and a significant increase in staff numbers and its services.

Mr Gibson, who joins from a 15-year career at commercial agents Sidney Phillips, said: “Bradley Hall has recently secured their position as a leading, full service, North-East property firm.

"I am proud to have been appointed to head up its specialist licence and leisure service as its strategic and rapid growth continues.

“We are all aware that the past few years have been a challenging time for local pubs and bars especially.

"However, my experience of working on many successful licence and leisure partners allows me to identify what makes a successful business. A business now has to offer something special and out of the ordinary and I can support clients with this expertise and knowledge when handling instructions.”

Recent growth has also enabled the firm to become established as a full-service agency with specialist departments including mortgages, residential agency, land and development, commercial agency, property management, professional services including valuations and lease renewals and building surveying.

Mr Hart said: “We’ve had an absolutely outstanding few years in terms of growth and business success, and it’s showing no signs of slowing down.

“We have a very talented and dynamic team with a great deal of passion and experience behind them, while David has been appointed to further add to that knowledge of the North East licence and leisure sector and grow this specific department.”
