Landmark Seaton Lane Inn pub reopens after four month renovation
After being closed for four months, the Seaton Lane Inn, in the village of Seaton, near Seaham, has opened its doors with a completely new look.
The overhaul includes a total redesign of the inn’s dining and bar area which has an outdoors theme, complete with botanical-themed orangery.

General manager Paul Brown said: “What a transformation. It is absolutely stunning. The best thing has been seeing people’s reactions when they step inside. We went to great lengths to keep the new interior a secret and the end result is spectacular with real wow-factor.
“The investment has transformed The Seaton Lane Inn into a sophisticated, yet relaxed place you just won’t want to leave and a tremendous asset for business and consumer guests in County Durham."
As well as improving facilities for guests, the regeneration of The Seaton Lane Inn is expected to generate further jobs at the inn bringing the total number of staff employed to 35
