A Kings Cross to Sunderland service has been cancelled after a train collided with some cows.

The 9.38am service to Wearside was delayed at Huntingdon, in Cambridgeshire, after striking the cows this morning.

As a result, the 13.45 London Kings Cross to Sunderland service will now be cancelled.
