Killeen the hero as Durham Under-13s defeat Yorkshire
Durham Under-13s secured a fine four-wicket friendly win over Yorkshire at Driffield.
Yorkshire were restricted to 181-7 in their 45 overs, led by Lachlan Doidge’s 37, as Matthew Sheppard took 2-36. Mitchell Killeen, Daniel Pollard and Owen Butler also struck.
Two of Durham’s top three fell for ducks, but Durham got home in 45 overs thanks to Killeen (65, with eight fours and a six), Ben McKinney (37), Butler (24no) and Pollard (21).
