Kerb issue easily solved
I'm sure, behind the scenes, Jeff Milburn is doing admirable work for the constituents of Cleadon and East Boldon but that doesn't detract from the fact that he appears too often in the Gazette behind petty causes.
The latest is the dropped kerbs causing a pooling and tripping hazard in the Market Square.
This matter could be easily resolved by Coun Milburn approaching the councillors responsible for the 365 works, who can raise the issue, if indeed one exists, with the contractors.
It certainly doesn’t need to go through the local press. Other recent examples of his include the bare Christmas tree and Exmoor Ponies stories.
