Hetton - Down Your Way
Moorsley and District Community Association is holding a fundraising coffee morning in aid of the Alzheimer's Society on Friday from 10am to noon at the Hut on Moorsley Road. Activities will include a raffle with some great prizes, a tombola, game and delicious cakes to buy. Everyone is welcome.
Eppleton Cricket Club will be running a junior cricket taster session at Hetton School on Thursday from 7pm to 8pm for under 11s and under 13s. Both sessions are £2 per player. Any new players are welcome, and for more information email Sam at [email protected] or contact him at 07715416213.
Year 11 students from Hetton School were invited to the New School build to talk to the different engineers about the work that had been completed by the different sectors architects, structural, mechanical, electrical engineers. Students were given an insight to what their jobs entailed and the career path students needed to undertake either through University or Apprenticeship.
