Herringtons, Farringdon and Lakeside - Down Your Way
This Sunday’s morning service at 10.30am at Middle Herrington Methodist Church, Crow Lane premises, will mark 180 years of Methodist witness in the village. The preacher will be the church’s minister, the Rev Steven Hill. Refreshments, including cake made by congregation members, will be served in the school room afterwards. All are welcome.
Sunderland Branch of the Embroiderers’ Guild meets in St Aidan’s Parish Centre in New Herrington on the third Saturday of the month. There is a Stitch -In from 12.30pm with the meeting starting at 2pm. The next meeting will be on Saturday and the speaker will be Carol Jarvis on From Factory Robot to Textile Designer. There will also be a display entitled Something New.

Hide AdA veteran’s breakfast club is held in the Lakeside Centre, North Moor Lane, on the first and third Saturday of the month commencing at 9.30am. All veterans are welcome to enjoy a breakfast and a chat.
