At St Oswald's Church in Grindon tonight there is a Eucharist at 7pm and on Good Friday Stations of the Cross at 10 am, followed by tea coffee and hot cross buns.

The Ladies’ Fellowship meets at St Oswald’s on a Tuesday from 1pm-3pm and would welcomes new members. It is an opportunity to meet with friends over a cuppa and bingo.

Grindon Mill Bowling Club, contrary to local reports, has not closed. The new season starts on Saturday, April 16. New members of all ages are welcome. Contact Alan Grahamm on 07789 809 979 for details.

There is a Good Friday Act of Worship at Grindon Church Community Project on Galway Road at 7pm.

Building development work is being carried out at GCCP, during which the Youthie will meet on Thursdays at the Sandhill View Centre.
