Grindon - Down Your Way
The Ladies' Fellowship meets at StOswald's Church in Grindon on Tuesdays from 1pm-3pm . New members are welcome to go along to meet with friends, old and new, over a cuppa and games of bingo.
Grindon Mill Bowling Club, contrary to local reports, has not closed. The new season starts on Saturday and new members of all ages will be welcome. Contact Alan Graham on 07789 809 979 for details.
Grindon Church Community Project, Galway Road, would welcome new people to join its band of volunteers. People interested in administration, gardening and DIY, and who can offer a friendly welcome, lunch on Wednesdays, work experience and, most of all, friendship are welcome.
