Grindon - Down Your Way

Dance Bunnies, a dance, movement and fun to music session, held at Grindon Church Community Project on Saturdays from 2pm to 3pm is for children of pre-school age.

The 88th Sunderland Beaver and Cub Group has places for Beavers and Cubs – boys and girls. Members meet at the Grindon Church Community Project in Galway Road on Wednesdays from 6.15pm to 7.30pm. For further information, contact Linda Hudson on 07403 265990.

A Ju-Jitsu academy runs at Grindon Church Community Project, Galway Road. The Bushido Ju-Jitsu Academy would welcome new members aged from six on Thursdays, from 6pm to 7pm.

The following activities take place at St Oswald’s Communicare Centre, Gladwyn Road, each week: Tuesday: Parent and toddler group, 9.30am to 11am and Ladies’ Fellowship, 1pm to 3pm; Wednesday: Church service 9am to 9.30am followed by coffee morning to 10.15am and Taekwon-Do, three to five years, 5.30pm to 6.15pm, and older groups up to adults 6.30pm to 7.30pm; Thursday: Sunderland Photography Association, 7pm to 9pm.
