Grindon - Down Your Way

St Oswald's Communicare Centre at Grindon is holding a Christmas Draw Dance at Grindon Broadway Club on today (Tuesday), with proceeds going to church funds. Meanwhile the Community Carol Service is on Tuesday, December 13, at 7pm in St Oswald's Communicare Centre. Everyone welcome.

The Bushido Ju-Jitsu Academy runs at Grindon Church Community Project, Galway Road, teaching a variety of techniques, including self defence and developing self confidence. Beginners and more advanced members aged from six years upwards will be welcome on Thursdays, from 6pm to 7pm. Come and meet Craig for more details.

At Grindon Church Community Project, Dancing but not Strictly! Dance Bunnies classes are held in a relaxed and friendly, non-competitive atmosphere focused on basic ballet technique and creative movement, delivered through games and exercises for children under six years. The classes aim to combine dance, movement to music and play, boost confidence, and improve balance. Most important, it’s fun. Pre-school session, ages two to four, Saturdays 10am to 10.50am, followed by infant sessio, ages four to six, 11am to noon. Contact Jessica on [email protected]

Messy Church at Grindon Church Community Project is on Sunday from 3.30pm, with ‘messy’ fun for all ages, with activities, songs and stories on a Christmas theme.
