Gourmet feast for vegetarians and vegans comes to Sunderland

"Bare" moves from location to location serving top-notch vegetarian and vegan food, aiming to use sustainable and seasonal ingredients.

The nomadic team are setting up in Sunderland's Good Apple Cafe on Derwent Street on Saturday March 5, offering two sittings of a five-course veggie tasting menu.

There are 2 sittings, 6:30pm and 8:30pm. Tickets are £25 per person. Groups of five or more should get in touch.

The menu served is fully vegetarian or vegan, but organisers say special dietary requirements can be catered for.

There will be a Bring Your Own Booze policy on the evening, with a corkage fee of £3 per guest. soft and hot drinks available, but cash only.
