Gap in service on Metro system after train is withdrawn
Passengers on the Metro system face delays after a train was withdrawn.
It has created a gap in the service, with trains running between South Shields and South Gosforth in Newcastle running late.
Metro tweeted: "We have a gap in the service of up to 15 mins to trains running between South Shields and South Gosforth due to a train being withdrawn."
