Local TV stars Chris Slater and Sam Haillay will cast an eye over the budding movie marvels as judges for the night.

The awards is all part of the Takeover Festival, which has been organised by 15 to 24-year-olds, to put the creative talents of young artists on display.
Daniel Clifford, Cultural Development Officer at the Customs House, has helped to organise the festival: “The week is going really well, and we’ve had plenty of young people attending, which is great. The team behind The Takeover has worked so hard to make it happen, it’s good to see their commitment and dedication pay off.
The red carpet reception gets underway at 6pm, with the awards show open to the public.
