It was a weekend of exciting living history at Hylton Castle as the Wearside landmark hosted a blazing battle throughout the bank holiday weekend.
The English Civil War Society re-enacted the battle for Sunderland at the castle, with a funfair and other family activities taking place across the three-day extravaganza.
Despite the weather, hundreds of you turned out to watch the action - and we were there capturing all the fun on our camera.
