All Saints’ Church invites you to its monthly coffee morning in the Vestry Meeting Room on Saturday from 10am. A warm welcome awaits you.

The Wearside Field Club will meets tonight at 7.30pm in Redby Community Centre, Fulwell Road, Fulwell. Speaker John Sadler will talk on the Magna Carta. Bookings will be taken for this month’s walk at Keswick, led by Allan and Norma Major, which is an early start – 30 minutes earlier at each pick up point. Also bookings will be taken for the Sept emberwalk at Alnwick, led by Brian Gray. All are welcome.

Tracey Johnson, winner of Britain’s Brightest Meeting, now runs two Weight Watchers meetings at Roker United Reformed Church in Sidecliffe Road. The friendly and supportive meetings run at 6.30pm on both Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Nissan 30 Years On is the title of the exhibition at Monkwearmouth Station Museum until November 6. Photographer James Sebright and writer/audio artist Rachel Cochrane explore how Nissan has impacted the lives of people in the region, to create a present-day snapshot of the effect of 30 years of Nissan in the North East.

Sunderland North Business Centre runs free play sessions for children aged eight to 10, who may be bored and want something to do. The sessions are held at the Seaburn Centre on Fridays from 4pm to 5.30pm. Sessions for young people aged 11 to 19 at the Seaburn Centre on Wednesdays from 7pm to 9pm. Other sessions for 11 to19-year-olds are held in Monkwearmouth Academy on Mondays and Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm.

A Fulwell ward surgery will be held in Fulwell Library, Dene Lane, on Saturday from 10.30am to 11.30am when ward Councillor Howe, or Councillor Francis will be in attendance.

Join the friendly tea dance at the Seaburn Centre on Thurdays from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Enjoy modern and sequence dancing with Jean and Johnny.

Six-year-old Habib Touray is a pupil at Fulwell Infant Schoo, who loves karate. He trains with instructor Sharon Bulmer at West Community Centre, every Sunday and Monday from 5pm to 6pm. He is always smiling and never misses a class.
