Firefighters put out timber blaze in Haswell
Fire crews have been dealing with a timber blaze this morning.


Firefighters from Peterlee station rushed to Station Street, in Haswell, near South Hetton, shortly after 5am.
They used a hosereel to put out the "large" pile of timber which had been set alight.

Hide AdCounty Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service tweeted: "A crew from Peterlee have been mobilised to Station Street, Haswell to a report of a bonfie.
"The crew from Peterlee are using a hosereel to extinguish a large pile of timber on fire at Station Street, Haswell."
