Firefighters deal with kitchen blaze caused by pan left on hob
Firefighters have dealt with a house blaze in Washington caused by a pan being left unattended on a hob.
The incident took place at about 10.10am on Monday at a property in Rosehip Court.
Two fire engines attended the scene, with the fire confined to the kitchen.
It was extinguished using one hose reel, four breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation.
