Firefighters attend house fire in Washington
Firefighters from Birtley and Hebburn have answered a call to reports of a house fire.
The crews were called to the Concord area of Washington after the alarm was raised at around 7.15pm.
Two appliances attended, however, it turned out to be a false alarm.
Meanwhile, three crews answered a call for help following a road collision in the Thorney Close area of Sunderland.
This happened around 7pm. One person was rescued.
