Fire crews spend four hours at scene of shipping container blaze
Firefighters spent four hours at the scene of a blaze at a shipping container – which contained wicker coffins and large amounts of cardboard.

Crews from Farringdon Fire Station were called to the unit at New Herrington Industrial Estate, Freezemoor Road, Houghton, at around 8.30am on Wednesday. Scroll down for updates as they developed throughout the incident, which was brought to a close by Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service shortly after 12.30pm.
