Farewell Ginger Pirlo
I'm sure all SAFC fans would like to wish their former academy product, Magpie Jack Colback, all the best for next season and we hope that he particularly relishes his inspiring sojourns to those footballing Meccas of Burton Albion, Rotherham and Brentford.
The ‘Ginger Pirlo’ who so excited we Sunderland fans with his stylish range of two and three yards sideways passing (sometimes to a team mate) will no doubt be called up by England if he can carry his magnificent Newcastle (relegation) form from this season into the championship backwaters.
Little Jacky who showed so much respect to his former SAFC employers and his wage payers (fans), stated after signing for the great unwashed that he’d joined a more successful club, who unlike Sunderland, would not be fighting against relegation and with other players could finish in the top four, may now have found his true standard in the second tier of English football.
