Lee is described as 6ft 2in and has dark hair with a gold front tooth.

He was last seen wearing a tracksuit with jogging bottoms.

Police and his family are increasingly for his welfare.

Detective Inspector Dave Cole said: "We're becoming very worried about Lee and his welfare, he has not been seen since the early hours of yesterday morning and it is completely out of character for him to go missing like this.

"We have spoken to a witness who saw him around 5.15am yesterday morning heading towards the coast near the Railway Inn however had not had any further sightings of him since them.

"We're really keen for anyone who has saw him yesterday morning, or has seen him since, to please get in contact with us so we can be reassured he is safe and well."

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Lee should contact Northumbria Police on 101 quoting reference 74 060317.
