Emergency repairs to Sunderland city centre water supplies completed

Northumbrian Water has Tweeted today, Tuesday, February 16, that crews were working to carry out repair work and supplies to around 70 properties were likely to be affected in and around Saville Place in Borough Road.

The company warned supplies in the area could be affected until around 8pm but has now confirmed the repairs have been completed.

It has thanked customers for their patience while work was under way.
